Guys, do you love the music you listen to? YEP.
Do you support the music you love from bands old & new? YEP.
Sod the establishment, be who you are... I think there will be a lot of people who feel like you do at Firefest!! ;D

I am a laughing stock at work wit some people, over the Survivor obsession, but don't care.Amanda is trendier than me and likes some modern stuff too. It makes me laugh hearing the students at work talking about Journey and Don't Stop Believing, they think it is Journey's only song, one of them thought Sylvester Stallone did Eye Of The Tiger, surprisingly they still have a job!!! LOL

I'll always like the sort of music i like, regardless of others opinions. Just wanna make light of this term designed to mock and shame aor fans and cast us all in an extremeist non bending light just becuase we like post 1992- aor releases too.
I don't think AOR fans need to justify liking an album, even if others think it's a rehash, has poor production or isn't totally new and orignal. IF you like what you like what harm does it do anyone to say you do? or even defend it against those who don't like it (and they are totally entitled to not like it!) and choose to voice they don't like it and why!

I really wish people wouldn't label stuff to be honest. Good music to ones ears is good music.

I really wish people wouldn't label stuff to be honest. Good music to ones ears is good music. I always say there are only two kinds of music, the music I like and the music I don't like! (And my tastes are very wide from opera, 40s swing, brass bands, soul, jazz, folk, pop, some rather weird indie stuff, stuff and various kinds of rock! :-))

I'll never understand why people need to label everything...or why they're afraid of what is different. If you look at the music on my Ipod you could decide I'm crazy and maybe I am...but life is too short to be normal!
