DREAM THE ELECTRIC SLEEP is rather odd band’s name that does not invoke any image as to what the content may sound like. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Defying categorization, DTES blends a wide variety of textures in their stuff which pulls in various elements of Rush, Porcupine Tree, Muse, Coheed and Cambria, Radiohead. The instrumental performing from each musician makes a broadly prog rock edge in a manner that is to find favor with fans of mentioned groups. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) There's depth, there's good melody and it's not about the crazy time signatures. Lyrically, things bring additional value. All in all, ‘Lost and Gone Forever’ is a solid debut CD and worth a spark an interest. www.dreamtheelectricsleep.com/band.html
