This series of programs finish's tonight at 11.05 pm ITV1. I belive of the four Projects in the running for the £50 million will be awarded to the project which recieves the most votes from the public.
Project one is for the Eden project, they want the money to extend and improve the venture.
Project two is to update and improve Sherwood Forest in Nottingham , make it more intresting as a tourist attraction.
Project three is a UK wide scheme to create cycle routes and walk routes in over 79 communites.
Project 4 is for a few projects in the Black Country (Wolverhampton , Walsall , Sandwell & Dudley) they want to improve & conserve the areas heritage by turning the cuts (canals) into more inviting areas for walks, cycling ect... Creating a 12 mile green route between Walsall & West Brom (in Sandwell) & also Opening up some areas of the old mines in The Area to create a Major attraction in the area, I think this may be part of the Black Country Museum ( its at the back of JB's). The Black Country is home to 880,000 people (thats just shy of a million!) please REMEMBER the black country has absolultey nothing to do with Birmingham & Brummies are not in that people count. The Black Country has a lot of rich history and heritage, as the black country was very important during the industrial revolution.
I'd obviously like to encourage people to watch tonights show about the Black Country's bid, obviously vote for who you think deserves it the most but i just want to point out this will directly affect a hell of a lot of people who live in a very concrete & Industrial area. Making it a nicer place to live and visit and hopefully bringing more opportunites to the area aswell as DESTROYING the myth the black country is a terrible place to live & its inhabitants are rough (I've limited my muggings to the weekends!), to visit or invest in!

If we don't get it it better be the eden project or i'm kicking off!!
