Classic Rock Society Awards Night

Hi All,

Well it is time for the Classic Rock Society Best of the Year Awards or the BOTY's as they are lovingly known.

This Saturday at the Montgomery Halls, Wath on Derne.

The usual lavish (honest!), ceremony will be hosted by Martin Hudson and awards will be presented by John Wetton. Rumor has it that a certain Mr Wakeman may well put in an appearance as well... ;D

The evening will be rounded off by IQ. ;D

Sorry folks this event is now SOLD OUT.

However, the world famous Tea Lady & I will be there, (well I have to be I'm the chauffeur ) so do say 'hello' if you are around.

Thanks for the kind comments... (Blush!)...

To be honest I'm not expecting to win, as far as I know only the Tea Lady and a couple of other folks voted for me!

But it is great that someone did!

When up against the likes of Rick Wakeman & Dave Cousins, I don't think I've got much hope..... after all, word quizzes and playlisted oldies rock shows have done wonders for new music... (ooohhh bitchy!)...

But to be fair to Rick his hands are tied!!

Me I hope Dave Cousins wins!! After all Rick has loads of awards already!!

Really looking forward to the chance to chat to John Wetton, Rick Wakeman, The Dreaming Tree, The Reasoning, Touchstone and more... (fingers crossed!). ;D
