As many of you know, Sue Ashcroft filled in for Steve Price a couple of weeks ago but you may not have known that her brother was seriously ill at the time. Sue, however, decided to keep her promise to ARfm and do the show under what many of us would have considered very trying circumstances.
Sue went straight from ARfm back to Glasgow to be with her family.
Despite his illness Sue's brother decided to marry his long-term girlfriend and the wedding took place on Saturday - we hope this was a joyful occasion.
Regrettably, we have been informed that he passed away yesterday, having been married for one day.
I am sure you will join me and the rest of the ARfm team in passing our condolences to Sue and her family at this tragic time.
Steve, Paul C, Paul B, Ralph, Donna, LJC, Neil, Bruce & Ralph.
