I had two pints of Guinness last night for Pre-St Patricks Day celebrations and intend to echo that this evening by way of paying tribute to Patrick. I've been to Dublin once and if I could re-locate there I would. Lovely city in a lovelier country filled with lovelier (still!) people. ;D Happy St Patricks Day to you and everyone who suddenly remembers their Irish roots today.

Ah yes good old St Patrick's Day Already had a few msgs from my Irish peeps I do love Ireland, but you can keep the Guinness [vom icon] Luckily the place still has enough vodka for me LOL Ben - Dublin is cool (went there to see Pride a couple of years ago), but gotta say Belfast is *the* place! I love it there, can't wait to go back, have enjoyed both my times in Belfast loads! Really looking forward to my four days in County Mayo in a couple of weeks time too And I repeat, enjoy yourselves peeps!

The Rosetta is also a great little venue, check out there web site www.rosettabar.comBonfire are playing the rosetta 7th April 2006 that should be a good night.

Lindsay - both times I've been in Belfast were for gigs at The Empire - Jeff Scott Soto/Pride last September and Vaughn a couple of weeks ago. Agreed - The Empire is indeed a fantastic venue, prob one of my faves, if not the very fave! Not been to Rosetta, but you never know, I might get there next time I'm over. A friend has been telling me of the 70s glam nights at the Empire (and somewhere else he was telling me but I can't remember where, deffo Belfast tho!) and that sounds like great fun ;D

Lee, I totally agree. St Patrick's Day is celebrated less in Ireland and more by the opportunists like the greeting card manufacturers in the UK & US.
I always fly in the face of the face of political correctness in this country. I'm proud of England and St George's Day. The cross will flutter from my window and I don't care who it upsets.
I've written other stuff that would'nt be appropriate.
