Z ROCK 06 WILL NOT FEATURE VON GROOVE IN LINE-UP:
Von Groove have pulled out of Z Rock 2006, set to take place in April in the UK.
The band's guitarist Mladen sent me a statement which has kicked off some confusion.
A just issued press release from the record label hopefully straightens the situation out. It reads: "Von Groove will unfortunately not be appearing on April 2nd due to Mladen's commitments for Universal Music. We where advised on at 4am gmt Sunday March 12th that Mladen has to be in Halifax, Nova Scotia at the Juno Awards on April 2nd due to contractual reasons. Mike Shotton has tried to find a stand in guitar player but at this late point it was felt with so little time to learn the set it would be near impossible. Von Groove fans can however rest assured that the band will attempt to play in the UK during September, this is a promise from Mike who is extremely disappointed to not be making the trip this time round." This is definitely a disappointment - for those that were looking forward to seeing the band in the UK again.

Are they famous then? More so for their debut album, than anything they've done since. It's just a great slice of melodic/hard rock, with cracking melodies, soaring guitars and superb production. I think you'll love it I'll sort that out for you asap

Lee, totally agree, the debut album by VG is exceptional and it's also by far their best.
