Had this in a MySpace bulletin a couple of days ago, but nowt on 'ere yet so I thought I'd share........
"Double Cross would like to announce the addition of 2 new group members.
Joining DC's main songwriting team Pete Lakin (Keyboards) & Stephen Kelly (Guitars) alongside original bassist "Gaf" Franks is newly recruited vocalist/frontman Kevin Bayliss & new skinsman Jason Churchill.
A newcomer to the scene, Kevin Bayliss has replaced former DC vocalist Rick Chase after his decision to quit Double Cross last October.
Bringing a fresh new direction to DC's sound, Bayliss whos influences include Tesla, Def Leppard & Nickelback to name a few has given the band a much needed boost following a successful year (2005) supporting the likes of Danger Danger, Dokken & joining STYX on the UK leg of their world tour.
Shortly after Chases departure, live drummer "Gripper" Grove's followed suit in December.
New skinsman Jason Churchill influenced by the likes of Iron Maiden, Queensryche etc... is a welcome addition to DC's engine room.
Both new members will join the band in the studio over the coming months to record DC's planned second album (ETA Summer '06) as well as a series of rehearsals aiming to get the band back on the live circuit by April this year.
Musically written for some time now, the follow-up to DC's debut album "Time After Time" (4,500 units sold to date...) along with fresh new vocal tracks by Bayliss will see the band try & broaden their appeal by fusing some typically DC styled tracks with a more modern sounding approach & a harder edge.
After the unfortunate loss of their previous website, Double Cross have a temporary web address @ doublecrossuk.moonfruit.com/ as well as their Myspace page found @ www.myspace.com/doublecross.
Both sites are under construction at present awaiting new details, photos etc to be added.
New sound samples coming soon!!"
