I like U2 Really good live - apart from Bono spouting off about bloody politics constantly! Who gives a FF about politics! I don't! And specially when I'm at a gig!

Umm I quite like U2 but the Tea Lady is a fan... not sure what they have either to have made it so big.. but best of luck to them and I suppose we could say it is a pity that some our fav ARFm bands haven't got a bit of whatever U2 have..... Just doesn't make sense to me but... (same old arguments I suppose), is it cool to sprout on about politics, to be seen to be mates with US Presidents and to constantly bang on about how unfair the world is while living the luxury life style of a rock superstar! Maybe that's what they have, who knows. IMHO they probably are no more talented than any of the other bands around... If we could find that magic ingredient, (or more like money grabbing label type person), we'd all be rich, or at least we'd be able to get our fav bands heard more! As for George Micheal, oi... Mr Fletcher.... no, or we'll force you to wear a Stevenage Borough Shirt in public..... Grumpy Prog Paul

I must admit I went to see Duran Duran in the early 90's and thought that they, to my surprise, were superb & I also reckon that the Wedding Album is excellent. There was more than a few dodgy headbanded & tucker booted geezers about in the audience though, doesn't quite look the same when you in your 40's
